Shoulder Pain Management

Surgical Treatment

If a nonsurgical treatment regimen did not relieve patient symptoms, your patient’s orthopaedic shoulder specialist may recommend surgical intervention. Keep in mind that orthopaedic experts say many shoulder patients are seen much later than is medically prudent. Many patients indicated that they wish shoulder surgery had been performed sooner so that they could have resumed their lifestyles earlier.1
